Family in McLean, Virginia outside of Washington, D.C. looking for a private chef.   Fabulous opportunity with a lovely family.  Home is geared toward the children but Principles also use the house for philanthropic entertaining. 

Must be able to cook for a family of 6, a sit-down dinner for 100 OR cocktails for 200+.   Large events number about 6-8+ per year, and you would have appropriate staff assisting you with these functions.  Fresh foods, unique, inventive and creative dishes. Must be good at taking inventory and purchasing appropriately.  Looking for long-term employee to join the team. 

Essential Functions:

Chef will have complete responsibility over the kitchen, including organizing dry good pantry, refrigerators and cupboards, keeping all clean and well-stocked.

Must be willing to travel with family 2-3 times a year for 1-2 weeks.  Perhaps a month in August, if needed.
