Job Title: Live-In Nanny

Location: Austin / Fort Worth, TX

Schedule:

  • Full-Time, Monday–Friday (40–50 hours/week)

  • Core hours: 11:30 AM – 7:30 PM

  • Occasional overnights (1–2x/month) and date nights

  • Travel required, including extended summers in California and potential relocation

Compensation: $85,000+ annually, commensurate with experience

POSITION OVERVIEW:

A family is seeking a full-time, live-in nanny to become a trusted and engaged member of the household. The role involves caring for three boys (ages 8, 6, and 3) and is ideal for someone who is playful, dependable, and passionate about child development, outdoor activities, and gentle parenting. The ideal candidate enjoys nature, animals, and being actively engaged with children.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Childcare & Daily Routines

  • Provide attentive and nurturing care for three children (ages 8, 6, and 3). 

  • Maintain routines and support autonomy, critical thinking, and gentle parenting principles

Transportation & Activities

  • Safely drive children to activities. 

  • Plan outdoor adventures, crafts, games, and educational outings. 

Educational & Emotional Engagement

  • Read regularly and facilitate imaginative play. 

  • Encourage curiosity, empathy, and creativity. 

Meal Preparation & Household Involvement

  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks with a focus on whole foods. 

  • Assist with family dinners. 

  • Involve children in meal preparation, clean-up, and age-appropriate chores. 

Additional Support

  • Travel with the family as needed. 

  • Participate in family activities and trips. 

  • Maintain reliability while adapting to changing schedules. 

  • Work collaboratively within a team-oriented household.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Genuine love for children and outdoor activities. 

  • Enjoys nature, animals, and active outdoor play.

  • Playful, warm, and engaging personality. 

  • Strong swimmer and safe, confident driver. 

  • Strong sense of safety, boundaries, and consistency. 

  • Experience with positive/gentle parenting approaches. 

  • Organized, reliable, adaptable, and open-minded. 

  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude.

  • Valid passport required.

  • U.S. work authorization.
