Location: Baltimore County, MD

Schedule: Full-Time (schedule to be discussed based on family needs)

Compensation: $120,000 – $140,000 annually (DOE)

POSITION OVERVIEW:

An experienced and highly organized House Manager / House Person is sought for a 7,000 sq. ft. private residence in Baltimore County. This individual will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the home, maintaining high standards, and acting as the central point of coordination for vendors, household tasks, and family needs.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and an excellent communicator who takes pride in maintaining a well-run, welcoming home environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Household Management

  • Oversee the daily operations of a 7,000 sq. ft. residence.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all household-related matters.

  • Maintain inventory of household supplies and ensure timely replenishment.

  • Assist in organizing and preparing the home for family use, guests, and small events.

  • Prepare the home for guest arrivals with attention to presentation and comfort.

Vendor & Property Coordination

  • Schedule, manage, and supervise household vendors (cleaners, maintenance, service providers, etc.).

  • Coordinate routine and preventative maintenance for the property.

  • Liaise with principals regularly, especially during travel, providing updates on household projects, vendor activity, and overall home status.

Housekeeping & Household Support

  • Coordinate and schedule housekeeping staff and ensure high standards are maintained.

  • Provide light food preparation when requested.

Event & Family Support

  • Assist with organizing family gatherings and events within the home.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior experience working in a private home or similar environment required.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Clear and professional communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Tech-savvy with knowledge of smart home systems and basic IT troubleshooting.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic household environment.

  • Discreet, trustworthy, and service-oriented mindset.

  • Hands-on approach with willingness to assist where needed.

  • Experience coordinating vendors and household staff.

  • Event coordination experience within a private home setting.

  • Familiarity with maintaining high-end finishes and furnishings.

  • U.S. work authorization.
